Tarot cards have been around for centuries. Historical records show their use in Europe as early as the 1300s, and by the 1600s, tarot began to be used more widely as a tool for guidance and insight, much like it is today.
A standard tarot deck has 78 cards, divided into two main groups: the Major Arcana and the Minor Arcana. The Major Arcana includes 22 cards, numbered from 0 to 21, and they donât belong to any suit. These are some of the most recognizable cards, such as The Fool, The Magician, The High Priestess, The Tower, The Moon, and The World.
