Hello, thankyou for writing this article and I am sorry to hear your experience with Nu skin.

I am not a distributor/affiliates but I am learning about MLM companies. I find that your article have many error and misinformation.
I checked that you updated this article on 2020 but this is far from updated, please edit your article if you want people to believe you are not writing this article to campaign your platform but to help people who needed information. You don’t have to rewrite about Nu skin but maybe change the information that it is ‘updated’ on 2020.

    Thankyou

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Wanda,
thank you for your feedback on my article about Nu Skin.
Please let me know what is wrong exactly, so I can do a better job updating it? I did actually look into Nu Skin again for my 2020 update, but couldn’t find any changes really. I would appreciate your help.

Again, thank you for your comment.

What if you are completely new to the Amazon online retail? Will a course help kickstart your business? I have watched so many videos, by so many “guru’s”, almost to the point that I don’t have any clue who is legit or who can help. I would love to try it on my own with what I’ve learned watching YouTube videos, but that is a huge leap of faith to not have someone there to answer questions along the way. Are there legit “mentors” that really want to help people they don’t know build a successful business? All just because they are really nice, have already made enough money, and are bored? You would think making as much money as they claim they do, if they really wanted to help others, maybe they should do a percentage of yearly sales from new students? Thanks for your informative, no nonsense article.

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Kyle,
thank you for your comment and kind feedback on my blog post.
I understand it can be scary to get started without any help or mentor to guide you. The only person and course I would feel comfortable with recommending is Beau Crabill – Online Retail Mastery. I followed him myself for quite some time and was thinking about taking his course, but then I decided to dive deeper into affiliate marketing instead.

I hope this helps. I do agree with you that the people running the Amazon courses should offer their mentorship in exchange for a percentage of the profit. That’s a really good idea! That’s how mentors in the real estate business exchange their knowledge for a part of the deal.

Best of luck to you Kyle!

      Cheers,

  • Nigel Cogbill

Great blog! Do you have any recommendations for aspiring writers? I’m planning to start my own site soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you propose starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m completely confused .. Any tips? Appreciate it!

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Nigel,
thanks so much for your kind feedback. I really appreciate it.
As for writers, I would check fiverr.com. They have a lot of talented freelance writers for a low hourly rate. Regarding the platform, it depends on how much time and skills you have. WordPress is the cheapest option since you can download many website themes for free, but paid platforms like Shopify and Builderall are also a great option since you can build en eCommerce store or website with zero experience. They have pre-built modules and easy drag and drop systems. I guess it all comes down to your skillset and time frame.

I hope that answered your questions and please feel free to ask away again:-)

I understand you skepticism about MLM’s. But, the one thing that discredits your evaluation of Nu Skin is that the article is immediately followed up by pointing out how superior your own program is – instead, become an affiliate marketer. Also, this is a 2020 Update yet your information is not accurate and updated, something you could have easily checked out. It does not say on the website that you must be enrolled in an ADR to qualify for commissions and bonuses, and that is only one inaccuracy. Each inconsistency along with the fact that it feels like you are trashing MLM’s just to promote your own “guide” makes your experience seem a little too convenient, if not outright untrue.

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Angelina,
thank you for your feedback on my blog post and for keeping me on my toes to double-check the data.
I did, and it clearly says the following in Nu Skin’s ADR guide: “Having an ADR is also a requirement to earn commissions”. You can check it here: https://www.nuskin.com/global/library/pdf/adrfaq_EN.pdf
My intention is not to trash Nu Skin or any MLM. They do work for some people. I just want to share my experience with Nu Skin so that people can make their own judgment based on research before joining.
My mission with this website is to inform people about legit ways they can start their own business and make money online, and affiliate marketing has worked the best for me, hence why I’m promoting it.

Thanks again for sharing your thoughts, and all my best to you!

Hi Stina, I’ve read your recounting of your experience with horror – what you have described is absolutely horrible and unacceptable and should definitely not happen.

I have been in Nu Skin since 2011 and my experience is so different to yours it seems inconceivable that we’re talking about the same company!

I think it was Kristin who mentioned in her comment that it sounds like you were manipulated by your uplines, and my feeling from reading your story is the same to be honest.

A few things that I know from my own experience as I begin my 10th year with Nu Skin suggest to me that this is the case, and I’ll just share those here if that’s ok:

Nu Skin the company does not run the business opportunity meetings you’ve described and does not provide distributor trainings as you’ve described – what you are describing are events that are organised, run and presented by Nu Skin distributors just like you (were) and I. Another commenter mentioned that they were surprised/upset that they had to pay to attend these events, however hotels and venues don’t provide facilities for free and it’s fair that all distributors who wish to utilise such events to bring prospects along to should chip in a contribution to cover the costs.

As mentioned by Kristin, it does seem to me that there was some significant artistic licence being employed by those providing the content in these meetings as well as in the coaching you were receiving from your uplines on what you ought to do to build your business.

In addition, Nu Skin the company never makes claims that it is easy to succeed in the business or that it is the ticket to financial freedom – to the contrary, the compliance dept is forever coming down on distributors when they get caught making such claims.

Over the past few years there has been increasing scrutiny on the MLM industry by the FTC since the time of your Nu Skin experience, Herbalife in particularhas been forced to radically change their policies in order to be able to continue trading (the implication appeared to be that they would be basically shut down as a pyramid scheme if they continued as they were). And as a very interested party Nu Skin has been very keen to avoid attracting the same kind of negative attention from them (the FTC), which has led them to make quite a number of changes to do so, these include:

    no cost to join
    no mandatory starter kits
    no mandatory ADRs
no minimum volume requirements to earn commissions

all of these changes make it possible for distributors (now called Affiliates) to earn retail profits, bonuses and commissions on the volume of their recruited affiliates without incurring any costs themselves whatsoever. I’m sure you’d agree your experience would have been very different if such elements were in place at the time of your Nu Skin story and you knew them to be the case

In addition there have been changes to the process of qualification for the Sales Leader positions (as was called Executives back when you were involved).
The qualification requirements are now a total of 6,000 points of which a minimum of 1,000 are required in any single month during the qualification – so while super salespeople can still go ahead and nail it in a single month, the rest of us have less pressure and can take up to 6 months if necessary while steadily building a network of customers and affiliates to provide the volume required

At the same time the commission rates payable on group volume has increased from the previous maximum of 25% to 40% with the 40% rate payable on everything upwards of 8,000 points each month, making it easier for new affiliates to make some good money while developing their organisation for the bigger leadership bonuses

Things have changed a lot for the better at Nu Skin since your terrible experience, and I think this is in part because of people like you sharing their stories of bad experiences with MLM companies and as a result the industry being force to improve or die.

It’s not right that you had the experience you had and I’m sorry that you did.

I’m thankful that I had a very different and more positive experience compared to yours, but it’s worth noting that we have both been distributors of Nu Skin during the same period. The company we were both with was the same, the thing that was different in our respective experiences was our uplines.

My sponsor and uplines gave me very different advice and coaching to what you have described receiving from yours. This tells me that although your experience was definitely not right, I believe the negative elements of it had more to do with the culture and methods of your specific uplines than it had to do with the company’s policies and structure at the time.

In fact, most of the negative press that you included has a primary element in each case of problems being created by over-zealous or ill-advised or unethical or downright dishonest conduct by distributors, and of course it’s much easier for the authorities, whether China or USA authorities, to go after the company for this and apply million-dollar fines etc than a bunch of distributors.

Thank you once again for sharing your story, I honestly believe that it’s directly because of the collective voice of you and others speaking out about the bad practices that have caused such unpleasant experiences, that all companies in the MLM industry have been forced to up their game and long may this continue. For those of us who are continuing to work in MLM and for those yet to join, it will be a better and more pleasant environment in which to work as each year passes, and for this I am grateful to you and everyone else who has helped to bring this change about.

Perhaps one day you will feel inclined to revisit the changing world of MLM, you may even wish to look again at Nu Skin with all of the changes from the company and a refreshingly different approach from a different upline, and if that day ever does come to pass please do feel free to look me up. Until then keep up the great work you are doing

    xx

      Hi Darren,
thank you for your comprehensive feedback on my blog post and for updating with new improvements to the Nu Skin business model.
Your feedback was very interesting to read and it gave me a new perspective on things. I will take what you are saying into consideration. I may have had the wrong upline like you are stating, but the fact that the old regulations still were the framework when I joined Nu Skin, speaks for a similar outcome. I felt I was manipulated into investing in such an expensive starter kit with a promise it would help me become a distributor a lot faster when, in fact, it was more or less impossible to recruit people to join what they thought of as a pyramid scheme. I am glad to hear that people like myself, who are sharing their experiences, may have assisted in MLM’s having to look into how they are doing business and up their game.

With that being said, I’m glad to hear you have a different experience with Nu Skin and that the MLM business works for you.
I wish you all the best of success in your future Nu Skin endeavors, and thanks again for such informative feedback.

      Cheers!

This is so true! I have enjoyed reading this post. I also was “invited” to join nuskin by ap friend a few years back and I just wasted time and money. It is funny how they tried to fool people in those meetings (Which you have to pay to attend) by big blue diamonds representatives of the company which all of them had great stories about how they left their executive jobs where they made a lot of money and all that was left behind to join nuskin and they want you to believe that they started doing business just like you (a normal working class person) bullshit. I learnt after by some successful Instagram influencer how nuskin itself contacted her to offer a job with them and from the company so basically these people who claim they started doing this business just like you are lying. It was also strange the way they want you to focus on recruiting more people into it instead of selling the products. I was kind of told off by one of my upline because I was focusing too much on selling the products. They also want you to introduce the business to anyone at anytime which made me very uncomfortable in occasions as I felt I was bothering people and the fact that we couldn’t say the name of the brand until you actually meet in person with the potential new recruit. I also had to spend money in products which are good products but very expensive, and what annoyed me the most was that after expending a good money on products I still had to pay for delivery! It was ridiculous.

      • Stina Pettersson

        Hej Maria,
thank you so much for your comment! It will be helpful to so many people that are about to fall for the Nu Skin lie. You seem to have had the same exact experience as me, which is a confirmation I’m telling the truth and aren’t just bad-mouthing Nu Skin.
Thank you for confirming the content of my article. I’m sorry you had to waste both money and valuable time on Nu Skin.

It was very interesting with the new aspect you included of how they actually are hiring influencers to say Nu Skin is making them money. Wow, that’s beyond deception! I didn’t know about this but had my suspicions.

I can’t believe they charged you for delivery as well…Not only do they force you to spend money on products through the ADR program but they also have the guts to charge for shipping. Unbelievable!

Well, I’m glad we both moved on from Nu Skin, and I wish you all the best of success in your future business endeavors! Thank you again.

        Cheers!

You need to contact a real estate agent who will figure out what can be done for the property. This is the only way you can expect a good profit to be achieved from it in the end.

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hello,
thank you for your comment, I appreciate feedback from Bridgedale. However, that is not correct. You can work this out as an investor together with the house owner, lender and attorney. Depending on the amount of back payments and the equity in the home, you can buy the house “subject to”, catch up the back payments, and assign the contract to a fix and flip investor or you can buy and hold, rent, lease option or whatever is your exit strategy. You do not need an real estate agent to do this. I understand that you are hunting for people, but please don’t mislead my readers.

All these informations are all complety false. I don’t understand where you got all the informations or by who you got formed and coached, but all I have to say that first of all you have to have a full Mindset and positivity to go far with this business. If you start by thinking you can’t do it, so you don’t even have to try.
I started Nu Skin few months ago and I attended my 2nd title in a few months, by having a great sponsor, as a good team. You have to motivate your team, and not force them to spend money.

I’m really disappointed that someone shares so much negativity in one blog post but trying to convince people that Nuskin is bullshit.
Let those people give a try to change their lives.

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Lili,
thank you for your comment on your experience with Nu Skin. I am glad that it is working out well for you. That’s great! But I am giving readers my own experience with Nu Skin, and nothing is misleading or blown out of proportion of what I am sharing. The facts are also backed up with legit sources, so your accusation of me sharing false information is based out of thin air only. As you can see in the comment section of this blog post, I am not the only one having a bad experience with Nu Skin.

I am not convincing people to not try Nu Skin. In fact, in the verdict/summary I do share that Nu Skin is not a scam. People are free to try whatever they desire in life, we are totally free to choose, that is the beauty with life in this era.

With that being said, I wish you the best of luck with Nu Skin and I hope you won’t be disappointed in the end.

      Cheers!

  • Mon G.

Alibaba/Aliexpress is indeed a haven for scammers and cheats. There are legitimate and honest sellers but their number is quite paltry compared to those who have nothing but bad intentions to rip and cheat customers.

I’ve had my fair share of sellers who sent me incomplete items, damaged items, totally different items or no items at all (even if the tracking number shows that the parcel has been “dispatched to country of destination”. I did find one reliable and “honest” seller lately but on my fifth purchase on his store, that’s the time when I got scammed. He claimed to have shipped the items and provided a tracking number but the tracking number itself was fake. No records on every tracking site. Heck, even Aliexpress’ tracking cannot provide any details. He no longer replied to my messages. I guess this scammer slowly but surely gained my trust and when I made my biggest purchase, I got stung.

Their dispute/resolution center is the biggest joke of them all. I’ve already provided detailed photos of damaged/incomplete/wrong items in all of my disputes and even our conversation history but ALL were deemed not valid by the resolution team. They instructed me that I should show stronger proofs like videos etc. How can I show them a video of something that I didn’t receive? Ridiculous and stupid. You don’t even get the chance to make a decent report as the words you can type in their dispute form is very limited. And yes, like a cherry on the icing, I got blocked for abusing the buyer protection program. Talk about double black-eye. You already lost a considerable amount of money and you even get blocked.

Well, every time I see this Alibaba founder with that annoying face named Jack, I think about the millions of dollars that has been scammed by his company all these years and how those millions have made this S.O.B. the billionaire he is today.

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Mon,
thank you so much for your extensive comment! Your words will help sooo many people from getting scammed by Alibaba and AliExpress!!
You seem to have experienced, more or less, exactly what I experienced with them. They sent hundreds of crappy (broken) toys to my customers before Christmas, and when I started making disputes, they blocked me from the site after only 12-15 of them. I hardly got a cent back of all the money I spent, and if that wasn’t bad enough, I also got blocked from the site and from ever getting my refunds back!!

I hate to generalize, but this does not put the Chinese in a favorable light. I also experienced a Chinese seller on Amazon setting me up for trademark infringement, without even selling the product and made me lose out on sales for 6 months. I’m not saying there are no honest and ethical people in China, but I strongly advise against doing business with them.

I’m so sorry this happened to you too and I wish you all the best of luck moving forward!!! Again, thank you for leaving me this comment. People need to know!

      Cheers!

    • Liz

My sister has been working for Nuskin in Australia for around 12 years, she is very successful at it and has made a lot of money and goes on a yearly Nuskin tour (somewhere around the world) where she gets an injection of Nuskin into her psyche. I supported her for a few years with it, I would do up brochures and attend meetings, I also bought some of the product which I still have stock piles of it in my cupboard, with that I spent a lot of time and money in doing so. She would bombard our family and friends and friends of friends with Nuskin, there wouldn’t be a place that she went that she didn’t try and sell the concept to someone, she even had her internal walls of her house covered in pictures of houses she wanted to buy and sales inspired quotes, she was what seems to have become completely obsessed. She even came to my work and tried to sell my work colleague a $500 face iron, mind you, this work colleague of mine was a single Mum and a heavy smoker. My sister almost convinced her to purchase it even though she could no way afford it and more importantly it wasn’t going to help her with her wrinkles considering her lifestyle. It was quite comical how my sister rubbed the potion on her face and tried to convince us all that her face was completely lifted but we all looked at each other and we were almost agreeing but later on we couldn’t believe how my sister almost had them all fooled even though there was no change to the face. Luckily another work colleague had extensive beauty training and talked this lady out of purchasing it and then I got a dressing down from her for inviting my sister to my work for such a scam of a presentation. A few other incidences occurred after that which made me question not only my sister’s ethics but also as to whether she was operating a pyramid scheme. She wasn’t just selling a product, it appeared that when a product goes a bit stale Nuskin and therefore my sister would change her tact using a different product. She would also target all my friends, she would not discriminate so I got to a point where I didn’t want to invite her to anything or introduce any of my extended family or friends as she always would find an opportunity to bring up and push Nuskin. It was really embarrassing. I made some comments on Facebook with regards to Nuskin and those of my family whom were involved, i didn’t mention any names but only spoke about the dodgy concept having unfriended anyone I knew that was heavily involved in Nuskin. I wanted my real friends to know that I was not a supporter of it and that if anyone of my family that approached them they should be aware. My sister, of course, got wind of this and was obviously not impressed, she tried to pretend for a while that she was ok with what I said but then she had an affair and her husband confided in me, infact I was the first person he came to when he found out about the affair, it was devastating on so many levels. I still loved my sister but she was no longer the sister i thought she was. She was telling people that I was her mortal enemy, she even tried to convince a judge that her husband was beating up on her which wasn’t true. In the end my sister and her ex husband are now divorcing after almost 30 years of marriage and they have two daughters who seldom speak now either. I believe my sister has become deluded and can’t tell the difference between reality and fantasy, between truth and lies. Other members of my family have chosen to ignore what my sister has done and just pretend all is swell and I guess they were fortunate to live far away that their life wasn’t as impacted as mine has been with what I have witnessed. My father, who has been dead for 20 + years would be flipping in his grave at knowing what has occurred, especially with the family now divided because of this situation but I have had no choice but to walk away from it, I have no desire to be associated with such people who make a living by scamming people. You can’t tell me that its not about the money, I am sure that if there were no money involved they wouldn’t be all working so hard to recruit people. Nuskin and all those MLM companies should be investigated and forced to change their commission structures so that people can only make money from the product not from just selling the concept.

      • Stina Pettersson

        Hi Liz,
I can’t express enough how much I appreciate you leaving your experience with your sister and Nu Skin!!
First of all, I want to say that I’m sorry the company brought out the worst in your sister and that your relationship has suffered from it. That’s what they do. They are like a cult and brainwash people into harassing EVERYONE that gets in their way. I joined my ex “friend”, who recruited me into Nu Skin on one of those performances, where they treat a person and then claim it has taken 10 years off of their appearance, but in reality nothing happened. They are preying on people’s weaknesses and fear of aging. It’s a good sales concept, but the way they do it is wrong.

You have to be a good liar to become a successful MLM representative, because lie is what you have to do in order to make money with any MLM (as far as I know). Unfortunately, your sister seems to have lost her way with help of Nu Skin.

I totally agree with you that the commission structure has to change. I like what you’re suggesting to only make money from product sales, not recruiting.

Thank you for helping many people avoid this trap Liz.

All my best wishes to you!

You can also buy on Amazon with Paypal with the website https://payzon.eu with the same guarantees as if you bought directly from Amazon. Enter the ASIN Number of the product and click on “Buy with Paypal” to be redirected to Paypal. The product will be shipped directly from Amazon to your shipping address.

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Pauline,
thank you for your comment and advice on the payzon option. I tried searching on a product ASIN to check it out, but the site didn’t find it. I’ll be careful to recommend this option to my readers because I didn’t find any reviews of the service. Maybe it will show up later. I’ll keep my eyes open for it.

First piece of advice is to never reveal your suppliers. You did not spill the beans here since everyone knows of those that you mentioned. And in my opinion they are junk and would look elsewhere. It is not easy to start off and the drop shipping route is something I would not start of ebay. Some people are successful at it but I would stay away from it at least until you worked with a supplier for sometime testing them on other venues. You basically have your business in their hands. Most of those suppliers on those sites you mentioned are selling junk that no one wants.

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Lisa,
thank you for your comment and advice. I never reveal my suppliers when it comes to the online retail business model, but regarding AliExpress (which I can hardly put in the category of authorized suppliers) I needed to warn people. Like you say, they are selling junk and are unethical. My goal is to help people avoiding my mistakes.

Dropshipping definitely comes with some big cons. Unethical dropship suppliers can destroy your whole business, like they did for me. It took long to recover from the financial loss they created.

I’m glad you are repeating the importance of knowing your supplier before dropshipping, and especially on third party marketplaces, where they can suspend you if something goes wrong.

Thanks again for your feedback. It’s much appreciated.

      Cheers!

  • Beatrix

I joined NuSkin 2015, they promised and encouraged but then soon it was pointless, they made me even buy their own products just to get “points” and be an “executive”. Those products didnt sell much because they were very expensive, my brother even had breakouts with their promising tech to remove pimples. It was so frustrating that they know i am struggling financially after joining and yet squished me to buy to maintain points. My up-lines talk like they earn a lot but then it is fishy (u what i mean, they share but never show) just to keep you on the boat. I am very happy i no longer am part of it! I started my own business and realllyy learned and earn! Not the way they structured it. I have lost a lot of money and time. A lesson learned.
A friend of mine joined too, they just took the money and when asked for a refund they dont wanna give it back!! He never signed the contract. I was so ashamed for him (although he wanst my down line or anything) i didnt recruit any, just mainly selling. I was shy all because deep within, i know it is fishy. Good start and talk but never the follow through
Btw, their weekly seminar is mandatory plus you have to pay too because they are blue diamond speakers. Wth? I think i lasted 2-3 months and am out. My up line became my friend and yah she quit too

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Beatrix,
thank you for your comment! It is really helpful for other people that may be in need of an income solution, and that easily can fall into traps as Nu Skin.
You basically had the same experience as me. They make you invest in expensive product packages in order to become (HAVE THE CHANCE TO BECOME) an executive, but it is impossible to sell the highly expensive products that they are selling. I am sad to hear about your brother that had such a bad experience with the products too. This is proof that the products are not worth the high cost either.

WOW have they even started charging for the weekly seminars?? That is crazy!
There is no end to trying to squeeze you on more and more money in order to belong to their “sect”. This is where the top of the pyramid make their money. With no morals, they pray on people in need of increasing their finances. Even, that they know that you have to have a lot of money and a huge network to make any money with MLM’s.

I am happy you and your friend got away from Nu Skin, but I am sorry to hear about your financial loss and time effort. I lost about $1500 myself and 3 months of time, working my butt off to try and make the business happen, so I know what you are going through.

You need to be an unethical person to be able to succeed with any MLM. Like you are mentioning, deep inside you know it is not right to recruit other people into this, since you know it is a “fake” dream they are portraying.

Thanks again for leaving this valuable comment and for helping fellow entrepreneurs to avoid making the same mistake.

      All the best to you!

  • Max

    Hi Stina,
You have shared real piece of dedicated work here and as a new blogger i am grateful for all the information.
I am trying to make some good money from blogging as well, but the competition is on rise and it is tough. If i may ask you a relevant question, i would like to know more on affiliate marketing that you have discussed. I want to integrate with affiliate marketing too but i have no insight on the matter that which program should i join as starter and why.
Actually i’ve been doing some of my own research cause obviously i need to find a program for my blog as well, and i did come across some articles that suggest different types of programs mostly the ones that are providing multi niche products data and some theme and hosting programs.
As a multi niche blogger i need a program that is too offering multi niche product data to promote. I also came across this local UK company that is offering all sort of tools that a newbie can use but i need suggestions on it or maybe recommendations related to matter if possible.
Here is the link to their tools that they suggest can be used for wordpress monetizing revglue(.)com/free-wordpress-plugins can you help me out with it please? They seem to sell data of stores and offer 100% commission with free plugins which is kinda impressive.
Any sort of guidance is awaited and appreciated.

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Max,
Thank you for your kind feedback on my blog and your comment. Although, I’m a bit torn if this is advertising for the revglue software or not. I’ve never heard about this software before, but I’m using free WordPress plugins myslef for different functions on my site. I build my whole website in WordPress. I checked out the affiliate store plugin and it looks like a good and efficient option to build an affiliate site that re-directs to different eCommerce stores. Probably a good way of earning affiliate commissions IF you can get enough traffic to the site. Sometimes it’s easier to get traffic to a specific niche site, since you’re targeting specific keywords, and the competition may be less.

Do you have a blog as of today? That is the first step. I don’t know if revglue offers hosting? You will need a web host to host your blog. When your blog is up and ready, you can sign up with any affiliate program you want and start marketing it on your blog. There are well know reputable affiliate programs like; shareasale.com, CJ etc. If you want to be in a multi niche, I have a suggestion of a good company to affiliate with; Get Happy e-Deals. They offer a wide range of products to market and earn commission with.

If you want help to get started with affiliate marketing, I can personally help you get started fast. If you want to join a program, you can check out my article with the Best Affiliate Marketing Training here.

I hope this answered your question?
Feel free to ask if you have any further questions.

This world we live in is definitely on a real 3D lock down…The average person living in this physical reality does not realize this planet has been turned into a prison planet literally.. Evidence of such a situation that we all are existing in is all around us, but the average person is under a form of hypnotic mind control & indoctrination and are too unconscious to see the truth of what is occurring directly before there very eyes..Humanity must awaken to the truth of this corrupt & rigged global system that we are all prisoners of..We must awaken to recognize that the momentum of tragic events , so called natural disasters that are occurring in the world is no accident..IT’S ALL BY DESIGN… It’s as if everything that is happening around us isn’t moving US forward… It’s as if EVERYTHING around us is being manipulated to have us going BACKWARDS…STOP AND THINK FOR A MOMENT! THEN YOU REALIZE SOMETHING IS TERRIBLY WRONG…

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Dexter,
Thank you so much for your well written and informative comment! You are right on spot that our “dumbing down system” is all by design.
We ARE going backwards! There is so much evidence showing that humanity was more spiritually and technically evolved and advanced way back in time, when the pyramids were built, as an example. Also, the fact that extraterrestrials were here to help humanity advancing then – like they STILL are…people are just kept form this information.

This 3D lock down you are mentioning is very true. There are forces out there keeping us from evolving to every cost. We see time and time again the mysterious passing’s of people trying to take humanity a leap forward and work towards a healthy planet, and its habitats.

Like you are mentioning, mind control is also very real. With all chemicals, GMO’s, and toxic vaccines, they make sure we are occupied will health struggles and brain fog. David Whilcock talks about advanced AI technology monitoring people, and when they start awakening it gives them nervousness, depression and so forth to keep their thoughts occupied with their symptoms instead of increasing in awareness. It sounds surreal, but it may not be!

Again, thank you for leaving your feedback.
Together we can awaken to the truth and spread awareness!
      Stina

This is completely false ? It sounds like someone explained how the business works to you so that they could make money off of you. It does not cost a penny to sign up with the company and you are not required to sign up for ADR to qualify for LOI. I have spent $0 of my money and am not signed up for ADR and have been promoted easily. I’m also confused how you only made one sale in 3 months? I have been selling solely on Facebook and have 40+ customers having been selling NuSkin for 1 month. I’m not sure what the motive is behind this article, or if you just got gipped, but this information is not accurate.

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Kristin,
thank you for your comment! I appreciate you took your time to comment on your experience with Nu Skin.
I was doing Nu Skin in 2014, so maybe things have changed by now? Like I mentioned in the article, we were at that time forced to sign up for the ADR program and had to purchase products for a certain cost every month in order to stay in the program, and qualify for LOI.

If Nu Skin has been smart enough to removed this, great!

You’re commenting on my lack of sales. Like explained, we approached the Nu Skin business professionally by booking appointments and make drop-ins at different spas, hair dressers, nail technicians etc., to try and sell them Nu Skin’s skin care line and possible even get them to do the business opportunity, but they all thought the products were way too expensive. To them, Nu Skin wasn’t a known enough brand to be worth the extra monies either.

I had just moved to Miami from Sweden and didn’t have my family or a big network of friends to sell products to (which is the most common outcome with any MLM – the constant harassment of friends and family). If you have succeeded selling on Facebook, awesome!! I salute you!

My motive with the article is to tell people the truth, so they will know what they are getting themselves into, and can make a judgment whether it’s the right business opportunity for them or not. Since you’re telling me none of the information in my article is accurate, I would love to see documentation proving otherwise. I’ll be happy to publish updates to my article – if any. The content is based on reliable sources such as; the Federal Trade Commission, news media, and my own experience with Nu Skin – a good combo to get the most accurate standpoints.

Best of luck to you Kristin and may you be one of the successful Nu Skin’ers.
      Cheers!

I have experienced a similar situation with Amway. you always end up broke and disappointed. Amway has an even more slick way of getting you to believe you can get rich with them. I was taken to a luxury home on my introduction meeting and they told me the expected comment – that this could be my life too. They are very deceiving. it’s only the top elite that makes money, that’s it!

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Lola,
Thank you for your comment. Yes, I can relate to that very much. Several people have tried recruiting me to Amway, and I had an ex neighbor who drove me crazy. I first thought she wanted to be my friend, but she always ended up trying to get me to join Amway, so I had to cut with her. They often get obsessed and bother EVERYBODY, since they desperately need to recruit to make money. All the MLM’s are more or less the same, and like you say, you always end up more broke than before.

Thanks again for your feedback and let me know if I can be of any other assistance.

      Cheers!

Hi, Stina, have you ever tried to use automated software like https://salefreaks.com/ or any other? Do you you think it is better than traditional arbitrage? Or I will just waste my money with it?

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Dolly,
thanks for your comment! I’m glad you reached out.
Yes, I have tried some dropshipping software, like Pricematic, Profit Scraper etc. I have not tried Sales Freaks though. I checked it out, and it seems good, but a bit pricey if you ask me.If you are dropshipping from Amazon to eBay, the automatic re-pricing feature is very good, since the prices are fluctuating constantly on Amazon and it’s difficult to keep track on this manually.

However, since dropshipping has relatively small profit margins and it does take lots of hard work, we are moving more towards online retail on Amazon right now. Meaning, that we are going to sell brand name products that we know are already selling. For this, you do need a re-seller certificate, but you can still be a sole proprietor and doesn’t need to register a LLC, even that it has benefits doing so. I will soon write a blog post about the process of online retail, and update you guys on my experiences of it. For example, you have to apply for brand approval on Amazon before selling brand items.

I would suggest that you test some of the dropshipping tools using their free trial period to see how much value they have for you. We couldn’t find any that had EVERYTHING we needed in one software, so we are managing without it right now. Maybe in the future we will.

Please let me know what you decide and how it’s going for you. If you have more questions, please feel free to ask:-)

Best of luck to you Dolly!

Very interesting, but just a note of caution. Don’t lose discernment as to what you allow to enter your energy fields Stina, especially when you are open and vulnerable. As the veils are ‘thinning’ all kinds of forces are able to make themselves present to us, both good and bad, and it can sometimes be difficult to tell the difference. They may be “Guardian Angels” (or “Guardians”) or they may not. Don’t accept things at face value (like in your professional life).
As long as you do not allow full possession or transposition of identity you should be ok.
    Good luck on your journey.
    Henry

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Henry,
thanks so much for your comment and words of caution! Yes, you are right that one needs to be a bit careful. I had an attack that was not particularly pleasant, in fact it was terrifying, so I have experienced what can come through thinning veils. I have learn the difference between meetings like those and the visits from my Guardian Angels. When my angels are present, which they are so often, they guide me in a good direction and make me feel loved (beyond words) and completely safe. They are helping me towards what I believe is my mission in life that I may share later on.

Do you have any experiences like mine, or something totally different you want to share? I would love to hear it?:-D
Again, thank you for paying attention to my article.
All the best and blessings to you!

The most confusing part for me as a beginner is those who dropship on Amazon using retailers, not FBA but FBM (fulfilled by Merchant). I know Amazon is very strict and does not allow this method of using big-box retailers as the supplier and have them ship straight to the customer, just like what ebay dropshippers do.

There are some people in fb groups that when their items listed on Amazon sells, they buy directly from Walmart, Home Depot, Target, etc and send it directly to customers. This is the method that I want to learn first on Amazon instead of going straight to FBA and PL.

I believe that a lot of these third party sellers on amazon that fulfills the order themselves and not thru fba are dropshipping on Amazon using retailers and having them shipped directly to customers.

Have you done this and know people who do this?

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Ray,
thanks so much for your comment! I’ll be happy to share what I know about Amazon dropshipping.
You are absolutely right that many people dropship from Amazon. In fact, I do as well. We use both Amazon FBA and dropshipping. The only issue we have experienced with dropshipping on Amazon so far is that they don’t allow dropshipping from AliExpress, or any other Chinese supplier that ship with e-packet, China post, AliExpress shipping etc. You have to be able to use any of the carriers provided with Amazon, otherwise you will get punished and finally banished for not providing valid tracking info. Why this is, is that Amazon’s system can’t track the Chinese carriers. I bet this is also a way to avoid dropshippers, who dropship from China as well, and possible customer service issues. We have noticed that it’s a lot of issues with shipping items from China. Everything from invalid tracking ID’s, shipments arriving way too late, bad items etc.

When dropshipping on Amazon, a little trick is to send the items as gifts to the customers from Amazon, and maybe also have more accounts than only one to not be too obvious. Amazon can’t ban you for sending people gifts. Many eCommerce entrepreneurs dropship from Amazon to eBay, or the opposite.

What I don’t understand however, is how people manage to dropship from Walmart… They blocked my Walmart accounts very fast, informing me that they don’t allow dropshipping. If anyone, also reading this thread, knows how to I would like to know the secret to this.

I understand that you want to start with dropshipping and not Amazon FBA, since you don’t need to purchase inventory. However, there are some risks with sending inventory you haven’t seen straight to customers. If you want to know more about some of the risks, check out my new blog post where I expose our mistakes and misfortunes with bad AliExpress suppliers sending damaged, smashed, and broken items. We ended up having to refund 250 customers because of this and lost lots of money. The post is: I Must WARN YOU About These Scammers On Alibaba And AliExpress! Find Out Who They Are!

I hope this was of any help Ray. Feel free to get back to me anytime and I’ll do my best to help you get started. eCommerce is a good and fun business when things are going right:-)

      Cheers!

Yes, dropshipping is truly an excellent eCommerce model that gives anybody a chance to run their own business, not having to purchase expensive inventory. The only thing is that you do need some start up funds, and that is what I want to share, since the sources I investigated for myself before I started never exposed this.

Of course, I would be happy to add more details! In fact, I’ve written 2 more articles with more dropshipping information and easy pitfalls. You can find them here:

  • Angie

    Hi Stina!
I thank you so much for sharing your post. I’ve recently been super fed up with these MLM distributors. I’m a fitness instructor who networks with other fitness community members, and you would not be surprised to see and hear how many of these messages I receive in my inbox AND newsfeed (especially newsfeed…. oh gosh). I’ve never been asked by amway, but have been asked for It Works… I know some individuals who are working for these companies actually do have the heart and mind to change people’s lives, but the feeling I’m getting from most individuals on social media is that they’re in it for the money, not to actually help others. It’s heartbreaking for me since I’m actually the type who really has a passion to help. I’m so glad I didn’t fall for any trap since I would imagine I would be the worst sales distributor.

Reading your post really calmed me down. It’s as if you spoke my mind out. 🙂

    Thank you!
    Angie

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Angie,
thanks so much for your feedback! I couldn’t be happier than hearing that you felt the post spoke out for you as well, and calmed you down.

Like you say, these MLM’s seem to be everywhere nowadays!! I get the invites too, not as often as you luckily but well enough.. They are growing in numbers rapidly.
I do think that people are in it for the money. Those companies are so good at painting the dream picture of achieving enormous passive income if you join and recruit people. However, they don’t tell you how much it takes to do so, and how hard people have to fight for only 1 person to join, while feeding the up-line more money. I don’t like this type of business model at all.

It’s nice to hear that you are into health and fitness and really care about your customers. Not many do that. Where are you giving your classes? I’m very into fitness myself and have been a professional dancer for 20 years. I would love to come on a class if you’re here in Miami?

Thanks again for your comment. I wish you all the best, and stay in touch!

      Cheers,

While not being a scam as such, it appears that this mlm ‘opportunity’ is based on people enthusiastically trying to sell over-priced product.
At the same time trying to convince others to do the same. A tiny percentage will profit, at the expense of the many.
Sad, but we must always remind the buyer to beware.

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi John,

thanks for your comment! Yes, you’re absolutely right. Like any MLM company only the top upline will really benefit financially, and yes we are here to inform people what they may get themselves into.

  • Manika- Nia Dixon

Hi, just before I came to your site I read a review about Nuskin so your post went in tandem. I agree that even if something is not a scam it does not mean that it is lucrative or that it will work for you. The funny thing, though, you caught my attention with the mention of gold but after reading your post, I too can see that a recruitment opportunity is not the easiest way to make money.

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Manika,

Thanks for your comment! I actually tried Nu Skin for a while and have been writing about my experience here: https://makealivingfromhome2017.com/is-nuskin-a-sc… if you want to read that too. I’m not too fond of any MLM business to be honest with you. It’s just too hard to recruit people. So many are still against that type of business (pyramid scheme).

You should definitely think about investing in gold though. I will, but probably not from Karatbars.

Best of success to you in 2017!
      Stina

  • Vitaliy

    Hi Stina
My wife Elena used to work in retail for a long time. She developed so much skills that she could recognize mystery shoppers most of the time. It was like a fun game for her. At some moment she wanted to change her job and applied for mystery shopper position in a big corporation.
My wife was sharing her retail experience with her colleagues and got noticed. Soon after she was promoted to a manager of the whole department.
Stina, the information you shared is very useful especially for young people to have side income. But they have to take this job as any job more serious 🙂
    Cheers,
    Vitaliy

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Vitaliy,

thanks for your feedback! I loved to hear about your wife, and so fun she good recognize the mystery shoppers. Give her my congrats on her manager position!

Yes, sometimes I think it’s a bit obvious, since you have to ask so many thorough questions that normal customers don’t do. I still believe it’s a good service for companies to evaluate the customers service and employees, and at the same time it provides a chance for people to have a side income like you mentioned. And YES from my short experience of mystery shopping so far, it’s a job that requires much effort and has to be taken as serious as any other job.

All the best to you Vitaliy and thanks again for stopping by!

      Sincerely,

      Stina

  • IllusiozTan

Karatbars business model is MLM and personally I won’t do my gold investment with this company, thanks to your sharing in this post. If we buy the gold at overpriced and then trying to offset this price with discount earned from recruiting more people, that’s doesn’t sound to be logic for me. I agree with you about it is hard to recruit people with this investment idea

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Illusioz,

thanks for your comment on Karatbars! I agree with you, the business model and the way they are presenting it does not make sense. The gold is just too over priced, so even if you would manage to recruit people, the gold is still on the higher side to invest in. It is much simpler to buy from another gold supplier and not have to bother about recruiting whatsoever.

      All the best to you!

      Cheers,

  • Chanan

    Hi,

I find your article really helpful in knowing how to sell on Amazon. As it may seem
difficult to have a startup business at any site, especially at Amazon, there may have some
issues that emerge at the beginning of a project. With this article, you are helping a lot of beginners
out there and let them avoid having some misfortunes with their businesses.

The samples that you have provided are also informative enough and would suffice for the need of clarification for your tips
on how to sell on amazon. Your claim about what may be best for customers may be worse for Amazon sellers,
this could lead us to an alarming state as what may be sold are only those that are somehow seemed as what could make the customers feel better.

    Thanks for this!

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Chanan,

thanks for your kind feedback! I’m glad you found it helpful.

Although, my statement means only in regards to shipping and customer deliveries – meaning that the shipping time gets shorter for customers, which is good, but the sellers have to ship to several warehouses that increases the cost and lowers net profits on products.

It has nothing to do with quality of products to the end customers, so not to worry. I hope you understand what I mean this time?

Thanks again for checking in, and I wish you all the best!

      Cheers,

      Stina

  • Armstrong Wil

Hey there……Thank you so much for the ” Private labeling” article. I had an idea of starting selling on amazon but I have always been scared because I couldn’t get the real information on how i can go about it. With this article now at least i have a real picture of all the steps i need to make to reach there.

Actually i’m planning to sell african necklesses because i know where i can get them at a good price, but do you think it’s a good product for amazon? I have tried to research as you suggested, to see if the product is among the
100 best but unfortunately i could not get it from the list.

I have an other question: You have mentioned somewhere that with the Amazon FBA, as a business owner you are responsible for creating pictures of the product and description as well. Is that means if i am getting my product from a chinese company, i will have to shift it to me (for taking pitures), and then shift it again to the Amazon FBA?? Is there a way to shift it directly from the suplier to the Amazon FBA?

Lastly, is owning a website important when selling through the Amazon FBA?

    Thanks in advance,
    Armstrong Wil.

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Wil,
thanks so much for your questions. I’ll be happy to assist you.

Your African necklaces sound interesting and I think they’ll absolutely have a market on Amazon. In fact, almost everything has since more and more people turn to Amazon for all their purchases. What you can do to test the market a bit is to search on Amazon for African necklaces and then you scroll down to the detailed information of the product you’ll find and see so it has a sales rank below 3000 in the main category. From my research I’ve learned that a rank below 3000 means that you will sell some on a daily basis because it’s a demand for it, and the lower sales rank, the better.

To your next question, if you’re ordering anything from China, ALWAYS order a sample first to look at the product and do a quality test yourself. If you don’t actually see the product, you may risk getting something bad and of bad quality and the customers may leave bad reviews. Since reviews are extremely important to climb the organic rankings on Amazon and to gain trust, you shouldn’t risk it. When you have the sample, you can go ahead with taking pictures. You may also ask your supplier for pictures, but again I highly recommend that you send for a sample either way.

And yes, you can absolutely ship directly from your supplier to Amazon with the FBA program. That’s what we are planning to do. We have ordered the sample and tested it ourselves and then we will trust the rest of the order (a bit risky of course if the supplier would manufacture some bad copies, but it saves time and money).

There is nothing saying that you have to own a website for your product, because you will get your page on Amazon with your listing. However, if you’re planning to build a brand and maybe sell other related products as well, it’s always good to have a website to direct customers to as well. Then they can see that you’re a legit company and you get more sales funnels, since you can sell from your site as well.

I hope this answered your questions? Don’t hesitate to contact me again and I’ll do my best to help out.
If you’ll go ahead with Amazon FBA, I wish you the best of luck!

      Cheers,
      Stina

Thanks, Stina, for another great version of the Carlo Ponzi story.

Good ole Carlo must have a Mona Lisa smile as he reads over all these modern day replicas of his original works.

1 gram of gold for only $371.49 … what a deal!

The expression, ” all that glitters is not gold “, which dates back to the 12th century certainly applies here.

That for this information. I will surely pass it on to my ” gold investor ” friends.

    Paul

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Paul,

thanks so much for your comment! I had no idea about Ole Carlo, I had to Google him. Interesting that your mentioning that he was the original published of an article like this, or am I wrong? It seems like he’s a journalist right?

Yes, I don’t understand why they are so far beyond the standard value of gold…that’s a ripoff. The saying applies here like you’re mentioning, for sure!

Thanks so much for sharing it further, much appreciated.

Best of luck to you with whatever 2017 has in store for your Paul!

      Cheers,

  • Vertical Veloxity

Hi Stina I love your site and great picture 🙂 . I have sold products on Amazon before but I was not good at it I admit. So I came to your page to get some tips.

But the products I sold were dropship products and not my own. This is a great idea for two reasons off the bat that I can think of. Number 1 because you have your own product on Amazon you will be more unique than Dropship products that many people have access too.

The other thing is if you create your own website and list your products there than Google will like your better because it is a unique product. I have favorited your site because I can learn a lot from you in places where I am weak. Thank you and keep sharing this good stuff!

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Vertical Veloxity,

thank you so much for your kind feedback! Yes, lol I always want to try and keep my posts a bit light using fun graphics. Then the content can be heavier.

I’m sorry to hear you weren’t successful with Amazon, but I think it was because of the dropshipping like you are mentioning. Too much competition and not enough net profit I would think.

Yes, you’re right! When private labeling your own products you can focus on building your brand (even outside of Amazon) and to create nice listings on Amazon that catches the customers. You probably have less competition, even that it’s quite tough competition on all products these days. It’s all about being the better option!

I think mostly you will benefit on higher net profits when private labeling, since you are doing the research yourself and negotiating the manufacturing cost with the supplier. I wouldn’t go lover than a net profit of 30%.

Again, thanks so much and it makes me very glad to hear you have favorite marked my site and want to come back for more. My update on this is coming soon.

All the best to you and your success!

      Cheers,
      Stina

  • Kipps

    Hi StinaP,
What an amazing post about selling private label on Amazon FBA. It is so detail – starting from research to ordering products to labeling and selling. You are generously sharing almost everything you know about the trade.I will come back to your site more often and learn from you the nitty-gritty of online marketing, especially with Amazon.
One question, though, right now is that I heard there are quite a number of scammers at Alibaba. How do you avoid them? You can you spot and distinguish between scammers and legit on Alibaba? I would love to hear from you since you are dealing with them. Thanks in advance.
    Cheers,
    Kipps

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Kipps,

thanks so much for your kind words! It surely made me happy to hear the article lives up to its purpose. Super cool that you will come back and follow my journey.

My answer to your question is to check the option for “Gold Supplier” and only search products from them. A gold supplier has been looked up by a physical person from Alibaba, to ensure they have a factory and is a legit business. However, scammers are getting so good at finding their way against things like this nowadays, so you never know. What we are doing now for our first order and that I would recommend everyone to do is pay the invoice through PayPal. They have protection against scammers and would make sure you get your money back if you wouldn’t get your products.

PayPal charges the seller a fee for using their service, so what to watch out for next is that the supplier doesn’t add that cost to your invoice. The seller is by legal PayPal regulation supposed to pay for the PayPal fees. Many sellers are trying to go against this.

I hope this helped a bit Kipps. Please don’t hesitate to ask more questions if something comes up.

      Best of success to you!
      Cheers,
      Stina

  • A Habil

Hi there, thank you very much for your detailed step by step guide to create a FB page, this will be a very great piece of article for people like me that just starting out with advertising through FB.

I understand fully all of the points you mentioned above, but my greater concern is to draw enough people to my FB page and actually starts selling from the FB page.

What is your recommendation? How to acquire as much traffic as possible to my FB store if I start from zero follower/liker.

    Thanks

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Habil,

thanks for your feedback, I really appreciate it! I’m glad it was useful.

Well, that is a concern for sure. It’s getting harder and harder to get anyone to like your page on Facebook. I think it’s a result of people not wanting to have too much in their news feed. Maybe because of those that are completely spamming people’s news feed after they have liked their page. I have struggled with Facebook for the last year, working for myself, and clients with my marketing business.

What you can do is to add this Facebook comment plugin to your website: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/comme

It makes it easier for people from Facebook to engage, which can lead them to later go back liking your actual Facebook page.

You can also use Facebook advertising and create campaigns, or boost your posts, but that cost money and I have personally not been seeing any good results from it. Hardly any new page likes either. It seems like the page likes you’re getting is from people that really enjoy your posts and it will take time to work up a good number.

There is a huge market for buying page likes and followers, and you can bet that most businesses with thousands of likes have bought a good amount of them. When buying your likes and followers, you will have very little engagement on your content though, which can look a bit obvious.

I hope this helped you out a bit? Let me know if you have more questions. I would love to assist.

      Best wishes,
      Stina

  • Christian

Wow Stain…this was a super informative article, i’m trying to start my own online business currently and when the time comes I am definitely thinking of moving over to Facebook to do this. Thanks for the in depth article…if you have any advice for newbies like me that’d be much appreciated, especially since you seem to be very successful.

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Christian,

thanks so much for your kind feedback! It makes me glad to know the manual was useful and a good read.

That’s great news that you’re starting your own business online. You won’t regret it! Thanks for believing in me btw. The advice I would give you is to stay focused and continue creating good content. One of the most crucial factors in making affiliate sales, regular product sales, or service sales are traffic. If we don’t have it, no one will know and find what we offer. The more content you write, the closer you get to building an authority website and start making the “BIG BUCKS”. Stay patient and on track!

I wish you all the best of success with your business! Stay in touch and tell me how it goes. Also, let me know if I can help you with anything else.

      Cheers,
      Stina

  • WMP

Hi Stina, I just came across your website while surfing the net. I’ve always thought about Amazon as being a gold mine because there are so many people who make a living off of it. I have never thought about private labeling a product to sell it on Amazon because I always thought it was a complicated process that would cost lots of money. However, I think this blog post is inspiring because you make it seem so simple.

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi WMP,

thanks for passing by, I’m glad you did! That’s awesome that I might have sparked an interest in you for private labeling.

I was like you, I thought it sounded too complicated and unobtainable for people like me that doesn’t own big retail stores and so forth, but Amazon is truly for anyone. To find a supplier through Alibaba isn’t difficult at all, they all want to do good business and you can negotiate between suppliers as well.

It does take time with the negotiation process regarding the product and shipping, but I know it will be worth every hour. We are now waiting to see our finished product with packaging before the final order. I will soon write another update. I’m super excited.

Please check back and stay in touch! Thanks again for leaving me a comment.

      Cheers!
      Stina

  • Twila Godinez

I have been selling products on Amazon FBA for the last few years very successfully, but I have not yet jumped into the private labeling. I have researched several products and gotten close to placing an order but for a variety of reasons have just not pulled the trigger. I will be anxiously watching your site for updates as it helps to “know someone” that has been successful. Best of luck with your product! I can’t wait to hear your results.

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Twila,

wow that is fantastic news! Thanks for the good luck wishes and for inspiring me even more knowing that you have done this for a good while successfully. What products did you sell if not private labeling? I’ve read that some people are visiting thrift stores and buy products at a good price and then sell them on Amazon a bit higher. Is this what is called drop shipping?

The reason I decided to go for private labeling right away was because of the webinar I watched that was so inspiring. They made it sound so easy. Of course, it’s never as easy as it sounds and things are taking time. We have been in the negotiating process for weeks now (the Chinese like to play games sometimes), but are finally awaiting the final creation of our product with packaging and labeling.

I will definitely update as soon as we have seen the product and inform about the next step – now when I know I have followers that are waiting for an update. I’m so happy to hear it!

And Twila, you really should do this when you have been so close and are already selling on Amazon. You don’t have to make a big investment at first, just place a small order.

Stay in touch and let me know if you decide to jump on the train!

      Best wishes,
      Stina

  • NemiraB

Hello, Stina. Thanks for informative and comprehensive review. I think that everybody can benefit from your article, not just beginners. There are some details which can help save time and lower costs.
For example, air shipping. I had once business with factory from China. I ordered magnets and shipped in container by the sea. It took some time going through customs, dealing with brokers and ordering shipment from the port to the storage. I was total beginner. Unfortunately, I did not have opportunity to read article from professional as you. The Amazon is enormous opportunity which could make everybody who is willing to work, prosperous.
You show here in your article how to do it.
    All the best, Nemira

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Nemira,

Thank you for your kind feedback! However, I am a beginner at this as well, but I am learning from doing tons of research online and from having to go through the process myself. I’m glad you think it can be good tips for Amazon sellers in all categories.

Interesting that you have done business with China already. Yes, shipping seems to be complicating and time consuming, but is often the cheaper option though. And the customs part with having to involve an agent seems like a big hurdle. Maybe it’s not once you know what to do…I’m glad we could ship by air now.

Did you sell your magnets on Amazon or did you have another business? I would love to hear from your experience.

      Best wishes,
      Stina

      • NemiraB

Hi, Stina. I had a business with China four years ago. I sold magnets in art fairs and festivals. It was my first experience. I did not try Amazon yet. Now I would search for a different product such as toys or accessories.
        All the best, Nemira.

        • Stina Pettersson

          Hi Nemira,
I think the toy niche is a great to find a product in. If you want to try Amazon this time, search for a best seller toy with low sales rank and not too many reviews and you will do great. Let me know how it goes for you.
I wish you best of luck and let me know if you need any help! I guess you have more experience than me regarding China and suppliers, but with Amazon’s FBA program.
          Have a great weekend,
          Cheers!
          Stina

  • Brandon Cox

Excellent guide! I’ve done so much searching for information about re-selling on Amazon and nobody seems to explain it. They just want you to buy their list or their tool. You’ve gone above and beyond by offering so much here. I’m really considering doing some selling on Amazon as a result. Thanks!!

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Brandon,

I’m glad I could help out! Extra cool that you may give it a chance yourself. I believe it can be really profitable. My goal is to get that consistent cash flow coming in, and Amazon FBA pays out every 2 weeks. Let me know how it goes if you decide to go through with it. I would be happy to share even further what we have experienced about the process.

Thanks again for your feedback Brandon!
      Cheers,

  • Hi

Wow what a great review of Wealthy Affiliate!
I joined WA just a couple of months ago and I am enjoying the experience so far. Good luck with spreading the good word about this program. Your website looks great! Keep up the good work. How long have you been with WA?

    • Stina Pettersson

Thank you so much for your kind compliment!! It makes me very happy to hear.

I love monetizing this site. I see it as my “baby” and foundation of my online business. It has to be taken good care of internally with informative content and externally with a nice design lol.

I have been a WA member for 6 months soon and I am proud of my accomplishments so far. There are still so much to learn. The information never ends on WA, which is great.

I am glad to get acquainted with another fellow member and I wish you all the best of success with your online business!

Let me know if you have any questions and I will be happy to assist.

      Cheers,

    Hi Stina,
Having a blog/website is definitely the way of the future. More and more jobs will disappear through technology and robots, so starting your own business with a blog is good.
There are thousands of niches, but affiliate marketing is one anybody can use to make money.
I like your reasons for starting a blog, and agree with you.
    Cheers

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Greg,

thanks for your feedback and yes, you are so right, soon it will be no man labor left.. A bit scary to be honest! I wonder how this world will be if it is mostly maintained by robots and other technology.

In that sense it is a must to be open to other opportunities and especially online.

I think a lot of people do not give affiliate marketing a chance because they see it as becoming “just a blogger, and only a few bloggers make good money”. I think a mindset of creating your online business rings better in the ears of many and that is exactly what it is!

We just have to write (blog) to share information about the product or service we are affiliating with to help people solve their problems and get them to buy the product. A better title would be: online marketer, or online seller even, with the benefit of not having to create a product of your own or pay for storage, shipping etc.

Thanks again for your comment Greg and all the best to you!

      Cheers,
      Stina

You did an awesome job laying out what to expect from Wealthy Affiliate in your review. I’ve been a member since 2007 and I’ve seen it change a lot over the years. Fortunately it’s all been for the best. That said WA isn’t for everyone. If you’re looking for a get rich quick type of scheme, this isn’t for you. But if you’re willing to work hard and be patient, then you’ll learn a lot from WA. Thanks again for a great review.

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Eddy,

thanks for your kind feedback! I’m glad to hear from a Wealthy Affiliate professional that I have covered the most important aspects. You must have a really good income by now. Fantastic that you’re still with the program. It will make my readers understand how great Wealthy Affiliate is. I don’t have that many years behind me, but I’m loving every step on this journey and it’s very rewarding.

Stay in touch Eddy and I wish you all the success for 2017!

      Sincerely,
      Stina

  • Kent

That is a very good review of WA. I joined late last year and I did so after reading another review from someone else. I started premium about 3 days after seeing how much useful information there is.

But the amount of info is overwhelming, and only a short time ago I have accepted that I will only be able to learn a few things at a time, and some nights I go to sleep confused and frustrated.

About the 1 on 1 coaching, I’m not sure if coaching is the right description, WA it’s more like a forum where you ask questions and get answers. But it’s a good forum with lots of information, all my questions have been answered so far so not too much to complain so far. I am seeing my blog improve, so I am content to stick with it.

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Kent,

thank you that’s nice of you! I’m glad that you’re a fellow WA member, but I’m sad to hear you didn’t experience the 1 on 1 coaching. My coach from when I joined, Frank, coached me from the beginning until I could stand on my own feet and rely on the courses and the community. I also got personal coaching from Kyle himself and know that I can get to him again if needed.

I know, sometimes it’s overwhelming with all information, but there is only so much info you can take in for each day. What I’m saying is, try to not stress and get frustrated. Sleep on it and fill more in the next day.

I’m glad to hear that your blog is going well. Best of luck to you!

      Cheers,
      Stina

  • Anh Nguyen

    Stina,

Another great article from you. It’s always my biggest dream to gain financial independence, it may sound weird to say it but I’ve wanted this since I was a kid. The step I love the most in your list is “Invest your savings”, I think that’s the pivotal step for me. When I was younger, I barely had any to start with so I just fiddled with those free methods that got me nowhere. But once I did invest (I also use Wealthy Affiliate), that’s when my business really takes off. 🙂

    Thanks for sharing!

    Cheers,
    Anh

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Anh,

I’m glad to see you back and thanks for another great comment!

Yes I think most of us have that dream. They say that money can’t buy happiness but it sure makes life simpler. A person so motivated like yourself will definitely achieve it. I’m glad that you’re already on your journey to financial freedom.

Using Wealthy Affiliate to gain income to invest is a smart move. I’m right there beside you, since that’s my choice as well.

Best of luck to you! I know you will get there!

      Cheers,

      Sti

  • Anh Nguyen

    Hey Stina,

First of all… I just want to say that I love your site’s design. And thanks for this detailed post on how to make money with blogging, as a blogger myself, I found it especially helpful that you go over the details of the ways we can do it from AdSense to Affiliate Marketing. Though I have to say that I am not entirely fond of AdSense since it takes insane traffic to actually profit!

    Thanks for sharing. 🙂

    Cheers,
    Anh

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Anh,

Thanks so much for your kind feedback! It makes me glad to hear you like my site design. I work hard on trying to give my visitors a nice experience.

Yes I agree with you, Adsense demands high traffic to be rewarding. It’s easier to get profits from affiliate marketing. That’s my main focus on my site.

I wish you future success with your blog Anh!

      Thanks for stopping by.

      Best wishes,

      Stina

  • Ralph

I always knew there were many ways to make money online, but it hard to really visualize it until someone shows you. I was not much of a writer back in college, so I’m a little hesitant to get into blogging. What advice could you give to someone that struggles with writing? This looks like something I would want to get into, but just not sure how I would do since I’m not that great when it comes to writing. Thanks!

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Ralph!

Thanks for a good question. I’m glad you asked!
First of all, you don’t have to think that what you decide to blog about has to be perfect in any way. As long as the readers will see you’re passionate about what you’re writing about, they will oversee not perfect grammar etc. It wouldn’t matter as long as you provide them with good information.

Second, if your struggles come from not liking to write yourself, but you still believe in the business model, you can outsource the writing part. There are tons of freelance writers looking for writing gigs. However, this will cost you a bit. You can find writers on sites like: Upwork.com, Freelancer.com and Media Bistro. Maybe even fiverr.com that offers some gigs for only $5.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions and I will be happy to assist.

      Best of luck to you!
      Sincerely,
      Stina

  • Mattias

Great article. I wish i had something to blog about…hehe.

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Mattias!
Thank you for your kind feedback! I’m sure you have a passion for something or am I wrong?;-) Maybe you are using a product you think is really good and you locate an affiliate program that offers that product, then you blog about it, and get paid a commission for it. Not that bad right?! Just help other customers with writing about the pros and cons about the product and how it can solve a problem. If you want to know more about affiliate marketing, let me know:-)

Have a wonderful weekend! I hope it’s not too cold back home in Sweden.
      xoxo

  • Gabriela

Omg your story sounds like a horror film! I feel so bad about everything you went through in life. It makes my struggles seem so small, although I do have much more time to go through horrible things in life since I just turned 23. Your strength and motivation is inspiring!

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Gabriela,

thank you so much for your kind, caring words, they really touched me! I certainly hope that you don’t have to experience any horrible happenings whatsoever in your life. No one deserves that! (Well, maybe animal and child abusers^^).

If I could make you feel that your struggles were less then, I have reached my goal with this post. My goal is to make people realize to never give up on life, and know that after a rainy day (or sometimes many) the sun will always shine on you again. Yes, it sucked big time when I was going through all this, but I am stronger now and I don’t take health for granted anymore. I’m happy to have overcome all that!

Promise me one thing, never stay quiet when you’re going through hard times. Talk with your dearest peeps in your life and let them ease the burden a bit. Or write about it and get wonderful surprises like this when you get support from people you don’t even know:-)

Thanks again Gabriela! You made my day!

All my best wishes to you and Happy Birthday in afterwards!
      Sincerely,
      Stina

  • Benjamin Lim

Wow! Very informative article! I definitely should start learning how to earn some side income as I am planning to be a stay at home dad. I am currently doing web affiliating and it is slowly paying off! The main commitment is time and the best part is that the capital needed is very minimal.

    Nice One!

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Benjamin,

thanks so much for your kind words! It made my day:-) Congratulations on being a dad! I love the fact that you’re going to stay at home with your child. I love when dads are equals to moms. I’m also very happy to hear that you as well enjoy affiliate marketing and have seen the opportunities with this business. Keep going strong, it is definitely worth it and what couldn’t be more perfect for a stay at home dad.

Stay in touch and let me know how it goes. Best of success to you with your business!

      Cheers,

A very nice thorough review of wealthy affiliate. What you said here is exactly what wealthy affiliate is. Being a member of this community has really helped me to become a much better marketer. The success stories you’ve posted here especially by the young ones are pretty amazing. Thank you for a great review of a great program.

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Jagi,

thanks so much for your kind feedback! I’m glad you have seen the benefits of the program also. Yes, success stories are so motivating and those are fantastic. I hope I will soon show as great results.

Thanks again for leaving me your comment and I wish you a successful and prosperous 2017!

    Hi Stina,
You covered alot of jobs here which is awesome. It seems there are many writing jobs and transcription etc. I think affiliate marketing is a great way to go as unlike the others your income doesnt really have a ceiling. But good variety. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you Sharon! Yes, I think I covered the ones that are most “common” and legit jobs on the market right now. Yes, I totally agree with you. Affiliate marketing is the best opportunity, since it’s only our work and dedication that decide how much to earn. You have it completely right! I hope that more people could understand the value of this opportunity and check out the training at Wealthy Affiliate.

      All my best to you!

  • Brandon Cox

I love that this article gives some hope to people who are having a hard time finding work as well as people who have big dreams. Web development, for example, can wind up being a big income earning profession. This is an excellent list, and I’m thankful you thought of both the SAHM’s and the SAHD’s! Great information!

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Brandon,

Thank you so much for your kind feedback! It makes me very glad to hear that it gives hope for people, who struggle finding the right fit for them. Also, the big dreamers with big goals. I never gave up on a career from home and am happy to be able to give that opportunity to others now.

Yes, I I’m trying to think about both the SAHD’s and SAHM’s. To only focus on the latter would not be right. That’s very out-dated nowadays when dad’s are staying home with their children as much as moms.

Thanks again for your comment and I wish you a beautiful 2017!

      Cheers!

  • Maya

Great example of that kind of business. Been caught into it as well…. Continue your good work in informing the public. It’s always a great helo for real info. ?

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Maya,
thanks for your kind feedback! It seems like almost everybody has been exposed to a MLM company. There are many people trying the business model, but very few that are successful and make money from it. Those that succeed I believe, are mostly those that are lucky getting good entrepreneurs in their down-line growing the organization for them. Or you just have to have a sale personality (pushy and ready to lie to get sales). Not my cup of tea!

I prefer to make my money in an honest, legit way. Thanks again for your comment Maya.
      Have a great day!
      Stina

  • Cathy

I can so relate to your situation Stina. Every once a while, I would hear from a good friend, who is very active in MLM and he would start with the conversation “How life?” followed by “We have a new product called…” and so on.

Prior to affiliate marketing, I did test out MLM for several months, but the meetings and socializing were very intense to the point where I was going home late and my phone was literally flooding with Watsapp messages, even from people that I didn’t know.

A long trip away from home lead me to discover the affiliate marketing industry and niche blogging. The revenue system seems to suit my lifestyle better and that’s how I make the switch. It’s been 3 years and I’ve never looked back.

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Cathy,

Thanks for your comment and for sharing your experience!

Yes the meetings surely get intense. You always left them full of hope to later realize the hard truth with hardly any sales or recruiting. I’m glad that you came into niche blogging and its enormous potential. You are further ahead than me, which is really inspiring.

Please stay in touch and update me on your journey. I would love to follow.

All the best to you and your success!

I totally agree with you, Wealthy Affiliate is the most awesome Internet marketing training out there! It’s a really good thing to have broken down what makes WA so good in 10 clear points, it makes your article even easier to read! I’ve been with WA for one year and a half now, and I don’t regret it! Keep up the good work!

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi David,

thanks so much, I really appreciate your feedback! I’m glad to hear from someone even further into the game with WA that it is worth it all the way. I’m glad my review served its purpose and was easy to read through. I know it contains a lot of information, so it can be a bit overwhelming lol.

Anyhow, I’m so excited for the future and what new possibilities are out there for us online marketers.

Keep me updated on your journey David. All the best of success to you!

      Cheers,

This article provides clarification and a once and for all statement. Yes, there may be a lot of programs online that are actually scam. However, we can say that Wealthy Affiliate is not one of them because of the reputation that it has and its capability to help the writers earn money online.

    Thanks!

    • Stina Pettersson

Thanks so much for your feedback Chanan! Yes it’s a privilege with so many scams online to be able to offer a legitimate program to learn how to make money online. I’m glad you can strengthen its good reputation.

      Thanks again for your confirmation!

      All the best to you,

      Sincerely,

      Stina

      Hi Pete,

thanks so much I’m glad to hear you liked my review! Yes, I can agree with the fact that the only thing lacking from this experience is time. I wish I had more time as well. I have so much more to learn, but still have learn so much.

  • Tony

Hi Stina, this is an excellent and thorough review of Wealthy Affiliate, probably the best review I have ever read for the site. Have you created a niche site yet and if so, have you started earning income from it?

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Tony,
thank you for your feedback, very kind of you!! I’m glad you liked my review. I put down a lot of effort writing it. Apart from my work from home niche, I’m also working on a site for anti aging skin care and have got commission from Amazon: https://yourantiagingpro.com/

How about you Tony? How is things going for you?
I wish you all the best and stay in touch!
      Cheers,
      Stina

  • NemiraB

Hello, Stina. You have an incredible and comprehensive review of Wealthy Affiliate. I think that everybody who read already and and would read in the future your article, they must board on your plane.
There are so much information about this great company. What I like about Wealthy Affiliate that it is a real thing. What you see is what you get. No false promises or claims about becoming overnight rich.
Wealthy Affiliate is a place where all dreams can come true with a few conditions. These conditions are perseverance, a strong will and patience.
Everything is possible if we put our minds to it.
All the best in your journey and spreading the message about Wealthy Affiliate.

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Nemira,

Thank you so much for your kind feedback! Your comment made my day:-) I’m glad that it covers the necessary aspects of WA. You are so right that Wealthy Affiliate is the path to a dream life, but that you have to work for it.

Like any new company it takes a while to get recognition and I think that too many people expect the big dollars too fast, too easy! The programs that claim monies to come in after a week, or just a few, are scams. This has to be repeated many times. Whoever, reads this – don’t fall for it! You will end up paying for a system that doesn’t work. You will most certainly come out poorer than when you started.

Affiliate marketing has to be seen as any other job. Dedication and work = revenue. Put effort into it and you’re building your foundation to a very rewarding business and a lifestyle of your choice!

Best of luck to you dear Nemria, and to all of you reading this post!

      Sincerely,
      Stina

  • Neil

I certainly agree that more people are looking for additional ways to escape their life-sucking jobs and break those chains.

However, even though we have the technology, some folks just aren’t willing to take action, but are still happy to invest time and effort into complaining about their jobs. HA!

On the other hand, there are some people who are that desperate for a better lifestyle, that they’re willing to take MASSIVE action online. These are the people who succeed in life! 😉

Anyway, you’ve highlighted some awesome jobs for 2017, and in fact, there are too many to choose from for me lol.

I think I’m gonna have to pick affiliate marketing because I’ve got the option to build my own business and become a successful webpreneur. I’m definitely taking your information on board and looking into your Wealthy Affiliate review.

    Thank You!
    Neil 🙂

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Neil,

thanks for your comment! You are so right – what’s up with all the complaining about; “my job sucks, and I’m so miserable”, but never do anything about it?! I know so many that are stuck in this dreadful cycle. I think most of it is because of fear of letting go of the past and try something new, and some of it may be because you are comfortable knowing what you get and what to expect every day. They play it safe, but are suffering mentally.

I was more the desperate type, you are referring to, that wanted to change my lifestyle so badly that I was willing to work my a** off, but thank God I did!

That’s too funny that I have given you too many options lol. I’m glad that you are going to check out Wealthy Affiliate. My #1 recommendation! You will thank me later;-)

Best of luck to you and stay in touch! I hope to see you on the inside and get the honor to become you coach!

      Best wishes,
      Stina

  • Ilias

Hi Stina and thanks for sharing. You have covered everything about Wealthy Affiliate with your great review. But I have a relevant question:

I noticed your disclaimer where you say that results can vary from person to person. What skills do you need to develop if you want to be the successful person?

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Llias,

thanks for your feedback! That is actually a good question, I’m glad you asked. There are many parameters to why the results may vary from person to person. But why the disclaimer and the most common reason, is that many people tend to give up when they don’t see enough revenue during the start up time.

To build a successful and lucrative online business from affiliate marketing takes hard work and is not happening fast in some weeks only! First, you have to create enough content to get authority online within your niche, so that you get the traffic needed to make good revenue.

During this phase you have to be dedicated and a bit patient. Unfortunately, many people give up, or decrease the amount of effort and the monies also drops. However, if you monetize your business well enough, you can sit back a bit and relax later on, since you will keep ranking on your content and continue making sales.

Was that a good enough answer, or do you want me to develop it further?

Feel free to hit me with more questions:-)

      Cheers,
      Stina

Great article for people who want to work at home and great advice on how to distinguish a real opportunity from a scam. I have worked at home as a medical transcriptionist for many years now and there are many companies out there who are always looking for experienced transcriptionists. However, the job has gone through a lot of changes in the past 5 years or so. Today it’s all about voice recognition technology, so instead of typing dictation, the job now entails mostly editing of medical records instead. Today we are often called “medical language specialists” (MLS) instead of transcriptionists. Also the pay has gone down drastically because for some reason they seem to think editing is not worth as much as transcribing. That’s why I too am trying to build my own online presence through my blog so that I can stop being an MLS through Wealthy Affiliate.

      Hi Carol,

thanks for your kind feedback! So interesting to hear about the changes made to medical transcriptionists and that they are now called medical language specialists. Thanks for clearing that up for me!

I’m sorry to hear that the pay is going down and that it’s not a lucrative business anymore. However, I’m glad to hear that you have started your online business instead! You did definitely choose the right direction to go. Now, it’s only you deciding the number you want to earn and when, and where you want to work. That’s the beauty of it.

Best of luck with your online business! Stay in touch and let me know how things are going.

      Sincerely,

  • Anthony

    Hey Stina,
This is some great information for a lazy homebody like myself. The idea of making money by using a computer at home has always fascinated me because I am so lazy. I am currently trying to be a successful affiliate and I am hoping that works out for me.

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Anthony,

I’m glad you appreciated it! Yes, you can be lazy in the aspect of staying at home, working from your sofa, or bed if you wish. However, it does take work if you want to earn the big monies as an affiliate marketer. Although, all businesses take work when starting them. What is the most existing is that once you have gotten authority online, you can pretty much relax and still earn great revenue.

I wish you all the success with your affiliate marketing!

      Cheers,
      Stina

  • Jerry

Hi Stina, the most comprehensive summary of Wealthy Affiliate I have ever read and I can testify that all of what you said is true. I have been a member for two years and it has been the best experience in my life. I think you have to be a member to really feel what this training and community is all about. If you would want to have your own successful internet business, then the support of WA is definitely the way to go!

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Jerry,

thank you so much!! I take that as a compliment! I’m glad that you’re adding more value to my reveiw by stating that everything in it is a fact, especially coming from you that have been a member for 2 years. I agree with you, it’s hard to really understand the benefits with the program before you experience it yourself. I’m overwhelmed by all support and motivation I’ve gotten from the community and the extensive knowledge base you get from the courses, is amazing! I wish I had known about Wealthy Affiliate sooner!

Jerry, I wish you all the best and success with your online business and stay in touch!
      Cheers,
      Stina

  • Chris

    Hi Stina!
Wow what struggles you have been through! To see that you can persevere after all that and keep going is very motivational for me. I have been through a lot myself and I have my days when I just want to stay in bed all day and do nothing. I always manage to pick myself up and get going though (Sometimes after a day or two lol). Wealthy Affiliates is an AMAZING community and I am so glad to have all the help and support from everyone.
Thank you for the motivation I received from reading your article and I wish you the best! 🙂
    Chris

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Chris,

Thanks so much for your kind best wishes! I’m very glad this post served its purpose and motivated you:-) I think we all have those days when we just want to stay in bed under the cover and not have to deal with life.

With life comes a lot of responsibility and demands. We have the responsibility to decide how to act and deal with things when unpleasant things happen. It is ok to take a moment to recover as long as we decide to keep fighting, beat all struggles and come out of it stronger. No one said that life was going to be easy. We have to create our own happiness and success, so it’s important to allow some time for sadness but to try and do the best of the situation. And YES, it’s great to have so many wonderful friends to help you recuperate even faster at Wealthy Affiliate!

Take care of yourself Chris and all the best, and success to you!

      Cheers!
      Stina

  • John Rico

Hey there! I really liked your review about wealthy affiliate. I’m a student and I’m looking for an extra income. I wanted to try wealthy affiliate but I don’t have a lot of knowledge about it. Also I only have limited money to spare but I have plenty of time to invest. Do you think that I can handle this kind of job? Thank you for your response.

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi John,

thanks for your comment! Absolutely, I think this is totally right for you as a student. You can start out for free and get access to creating 2 Siterubix websites and training to start up your business. In fact, you can stay for free as long as you want, but there are some expert knowledge you won’t get access to without the Premium membership though.

Why don’t you start for free to try the program and if you feel it’s worth it and that you need more tips on the way, you can invest the $49/month, ($19 for the first month if you sign up from my site), later. There are no upsells, so this is the price you’ll pay.

Also, the fact that you have time is going to do you very well. It takes a while to create content for your niche website before you will get people to notice your site and start buying from it.

Let me know what you think? I’m here to guide you in the process as well!

      Best wishes to you!
      Stina

  • Riaz Shah

    Hey Stina,
Its always awesome to see Kyle communicating with the members, shows how humble he is and that even though he’s a founder, he’s not afraid to get his hands dirty and help people get started.

I’m a member already and to be honest, I actually decided to give WA a shot because I was thrilled that the owner himself is talking to me so I went all out for a year and today, its my second year already.

I love your review and I hope you can inspire other beginners to start their Online Business the right way. All the best in your journey and keep up the good work!

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Riaz,

thanks so much for your kind feedback! I’m happy to hear that you’re a fellow WA member and has been for 2 years. That must mean that you really love the program:-)

Yes, I feel that Kyle’s presence was one of the reasons for me to join as well. I got a sense of trust from knowing that Kyle is close and available if you need expert advice. You would definitely not get that from a scam program. At those you can’t find anybody!

Thanks again, yes I do hope that more people see the value of Wealthy Affiliate and start living, not only for the weekend! I love what I’m doing so much that I can’t keep away during weekends either. Not always good though, you need a break once in a while lol.

I wish you all the success with your business Riaz!

      Best,
      Stina

    Hi Stina!

Wealthy affiliate in my opinion is like an online business school where you study how to build a successful company. I’ve been on here for almost a week as a premium member and so far its been very helpful and pushed me in the right direction.

  • Francesco

    Hello Stina,
Thank you for sharing this thorough review about WA. I have been a member for the last two months and my experience with it is positive indeed.
Wealthy Affiliate really has no rival as far as the training and support are concerned.
The help and support you get from the community is another strenght of the platform, and every member can benefit from it.
This is my only choice and I wouldn’t change it for anything else.

    Francesco

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Francesco,

Thank you for reading and most welcome to Wealthy Affiliate!

I’m glad to hear that you like what you’re experiencing so far. You will be very happy you did join! Try and suck in as much knowledge as possible and stay on track with the training and you will succeed:-)

Yes, I totally agree with you, WA doesn’t have any real competition out there that could top what Kyle and Carson have created. This is just an awesome community to be a member off and I’m learning new things every day.

Stay in touch Francesco, I would love to hear about your journey with your own online business. Reach out if you need advice, or help with anything.

I wish you all the best and success building your business!

  • A Habil

Hi, thank you for this very inspiring piece of article.

I just started with WA, diligently went through the first module, then I decided to upgrade to premium membership. I have also created my own domain and still writing the contents for my site.

In your opinion, how long should I stick to the premium membership? As I already finished all the courses available at WA.

    Thank You

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Habil,

Thanks so much for your kind feedback!

Wow you’re a fast learner. That’s great that you have come so far with the courses. I still feel I have a lot to learn and need to go back for reminders.

Well, do you host your site with the WA hosting, or do you use your own hosting company? If you’re hosting your site with WA, I would recommend you to stay with them since they offer the best WordPress hosting you can get (WP Engine is good too of course, since it’s the main WordPress hosting). It’s also a safety net to have 24/7 support and every day backups if something would go wrong. You can use so many valuable measurements as site health etc with WA as well. If you go on your own with another host, you loose the tools that help keep your site converting at its best.

I also feel that you should stay and take part of the webinars etc. until your website gives you good enough revenue and you think you have everything covered. Why not expanding your business and niche and build more sites as well? You know you can host up to 50 websites on the Premium membership? Even that 50 would be a bit over the top lol. For me it’s hard to take care of 3 businesses.

Anyhow, I feel that it’s well worth the $49/month to stay with WA. You get so much more than just hosting for that price. I hope this helped you a little bit. Please feel free to contact me with more questions.

I wish you all the best with your online business!

      Cheers!
      Stina

I really liked your site. Loved the graphics and the layout. It was extremely informative and made me want to learn more about earning an income while working from home. You laid out the information in an educational way instead of being salesy and it was very well documented. I like that you gave a lot of the topics and tips that you learn from joining too. I think it should get a great response. After searching many work at home site, I can say that your is one of the more inviting sites and I would trust you.

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Michele,

Thanks you so much for your incredible kind feedback!

You do not know how happy this makes me. It took me days to compose this review and ensure I covered all the possible topics that would be a question for the person thinking about an home based business.

The fact that you as a reader experienced it educational is highest score for me. That is exactly what I wanted to communicate with this article!

Again, thank you so much for your feedback!!

All the best to you, and stay in touch! If I can help you in anyway in the future, please let me know and I’ll be happy to assist.

      Sincerely,

  • Oliver Chamberlain

Everything that you have said about Wealthy Affiliate has been spot on, from everything I have seen. I’m only 2 weeks in, and while I don’t have a rags to riches testimonial to offer (yet), I can tell you what I have learned in a short period of time, plus the support I have received from Kyle on down has been nothing short of spectacular. WA will teach you the business from the ground up, if you’re willing to learn and apply what they teach.

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Oliver,

thank you for your kind feedback and welcome to Wealthy Affiliate!

I’m happy that you joined and I’m sure it will be one of the best decisions you have made. It can be a bit overwhelming with all new knowledge in the beginning, but my advice to you is to stay focused and take the training step-by-step. Don’t skip anything and jump ahead, because Kyle has designed the courses so that every step has something important to bring to the foundation of your online business.

If you need help or input on anything, please let me know and I’ll be happy to help out.

Best of luck to you with your business!

      Cheers!

      Stina

    Wow Stina,
Great page and I love the amount of content you placed here about you. There is nothing like having a page that ensures people understand what you have been through, how you go to where you are and just about you. The trust it builds and creating a bond with the reader is vital. I tend to flip to this page first as I want to know how I can relate to the writer and their site. Great post and this is why the rest of the site looks and provides a wealth of information for us the viewers.

    Thanks so much

    Mario

    • Stina Pettersson

      Hi Mario,
aaww you just made my day! Thank you so much for those kind words! It is so rewarding to get positive feedback on something you have worked so hard for. Please keep in touch and tell me more about you and your work. All the best to you!

      Best wishes,
      Stina

  • Kurtis Quick

I always wanted to learn how to drop ship…is this a hard process to learn?

    • Stina Pettersson

I have never tried drop shipping myself, buy I have watched video tutorials. It seems like an relatively easy process. You basically sell products to a higher price than from where you found them online (ebay), or through a drop shipping company, and then you take the in-between difference. However, as you can read from my review, there is not much to make after all ebay listing fees and Paypal fees, so I don’t think it’s worth the hassle.

Maybe you’ll prove me wrong though!
Let me know if you decided to give it a try and how it went.

      Cheers!
      Stina
